Hello everyone! Finally I am able to post something on this blog. I’ve been pretty busy these day. Being a nerd, an editor for two scanlating groups and a soon-to-become uni student is pretty difficult. I might not be that active from now on since I have two important project to finish due to saturday, so I hope to update anytime soon with m second review of the day.
The manga I’ve decided to review today is Renai Doukyonin by Hirama Mitsunaga; sensei also added an english phrase, so I guess the alternative title could be The House which Makes Boys Encounter Love!
This should be also considered as an hint of the content of this manga. (ﾉ^ω^)ﾉ☆
So, let’s start! This work concerns the daily life of 6 flatmates: Natsuki, Haruka, Shizuka, Yuki, Shotaro and Masaki. The first story regards Shotaro and Shizuka. Shotaro is the newcomer and he’s kinda happy, better, excited to go live with new people, but his welcoming party is not the best. What he sees is actually an R18 scene between two of his new flatmates: Shizuka and Yuki. As your average almost-straigh-boy, he’s shocked at the beginning, but somehow recovers. Later in the story he gets close to Shizuka, after defending him from an ex of his, and the two of them kinda starts to get close to each other.
I still don’t know how in mangas of this kind people fall in love, but here’s obvious what comes next, I could almost skip this part ww. Shizuka by some manner kisses Shotaro, but the latter ends up rejecting him. Nothing to worry, as you all can guess Shotaro at the end realizes his feelins for Shizuka and the two of them end up together. Quite a cute, lovey-dovey couple I might say.
The second story follows the love life of Yuki and Masaki. Masaki is actually an old man, not that old, but still old and you know I have a sweet spot for ossan so he might actually be my favourite character so far. Take an ossan add him a moe personality, you make the killer bomb for this stupid person that is myself. I think that basically this manga is cute, super duper cute, and this story is what makes it lovely the most. Basically Masaki receives a call from someone he really does cherish (they’re getting married) and starts to cry in front of Yuki (aaaand here my heart kinda blows off, sigh). He, then, confort him and they have wild, but adorable sex. At the end of the story we know why Yuki has a sweet spot for Masaki: when he was young and sick Masaki helped him; we ossan lovers know that an old man’s smile can kill.
The last but not least story of this manga features Haruka and Natsuki. Not much to say about these two. They basically look alike and this is a problem for Natsuki because everyone wants Haruka and not him. After flirting somehow Haruka gets an haircut and becomes hotter (sighs) and this does not bother our little Natsuki at all. Hanky panky also follows, but it’s quite soft, but you can see lots of kiss and cuteness.
I guess you I’d totally recommend this. Please read it.qvq
