Hello! Finally I am able to write something (hoping I won’t screw up) on this blog! I’ve been dying to do so since the day I created this /site/. Well, officially, this blog opened yesterday, but truth to be told I tried to start it I don’t know how many times already in the past and actually ended up deleting them because I was unsatisfied. I hope this one will survive at least one month, or, better, as I said in the “About” page at least till new year. I’ve been inspired by so many good people who do the same thing as me and I’ll probably will find the power to list them in the page I’ve already created asap. So, before starting writing about my first review, I shall thanks these inspiring wonderful people I hope one day I’ll get to talk with. ~☆
But now no more chatting! I am glad to present you the first manga I will talk about: Kimimachi Terminal by Aomiya Kara. Actually I’ve chosen this manga because I found pretty funny the fact that just a few days ago I was talking about Aomiya-sensei’s other work, おこさまスタ (Okosama Star), with a friend and then I got my hands on this cute piece of work just right after that talking, www. Amazing, isn’t it? (。-`ω´-)
The manga features 4 stories: the first one follows the sweet romance between Kaibara-san (who, just so you know, has the same name of a japanese train station) and Andou-san, a handsome and popular clerk. Andou-san works in a shoe shop while Kaibara-san’s an habitué of his. As the pages go on, we see the two main characters flirt a lot and get embarrassed for the smallest things. Just in the second chapter (also the end of this story) we see a bit of action: the appearance of a mysterious woman who seems to know quite a lot Andou-san changes the relationship between the two men.
The second story is about two fellow students. At first they seem not to get along so well. We have, in fact, the clichéd part where there’s character x talking bad about character y but then realizes they’re not bad at all and starts to have weird feelings for them. Actually this third chapter is nothing special, but I have to admit that those blushing faces made me really embarrassed and somehow made me appreciate the chapter a lot more. I’ll leave a small preview so you all know what I’m talking about. ( /)u( ) ♡♡
The fourth chapter – also our third story – features the two characters we find on the cover: a bus driver, Miyama Kazuki and a customer, Yamada Shouhei. Everyday, Yamada cycles beside Miyama-san’s bus with heart-shaped eyes to school. It’s easily understandable that our pretty school boy is in love, but somehow mr. bus driver just gets distracted by his presence! However, when he meets Yamada on the streets on his day off, Yamada ignores him and here the magic happens. A day our schooler is sleeping on the bus and when Miyama tries to wake him up he’s forced into a kiss that /kindly/ rejects. The pages that follows are also pretty much very common in BL stories: our uninterested Miyama-san, like a shoujo heroine, understands that maybe he feels something for Yamada. From here on their relationships gets more lovey dovey, well untill chapter two, though. Nothing to worry my dear friends!! like the calm after the storm, our protagonists end up copulating. ✌️ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )
We finally reached the last chapter *phew!!! I noticed that Aomiya-sensei’s character are all the easy-to-blush kind. Nothing wrong though. I might say that for me this is one of her strong point. Like, I can’t correctly explain myself, but… how to say… I think that it’s probably because they bush a lot and makes me feel embarrassed that she conquered my heart! In this fourth story we find a lot of blushing faces!!! Two neighbours fsll in love with each other and also– finally sex in a bed, eheh.
Well, I finally finished my first reiew and I’m a little embarrassed. I never did this thing before, but I wanted to try. A sort of a new experience, we can say. I don’t have much to say, I hope I haven’t annoyed nor bored whoever read this. If so, I’m reaaaaaaaaaally sorry. I’ll try writing things differently next time!
